Prep work for discussion: What could be different aspects of the human experience that are demonstrated in the texts we’ve read and written so far this semester.  Brainstorm many different ideas (WRITE THEM DOWN!!!) so that when you talk with your small group, you have info to share.  Here are the texts you must look at: “Sound of Thunder”, the excerpts from House on Mango Street, “Cask of Amontillado”, and at least one of the texts you’ve written so far  (your new end to SoT, the show don’t tell quick write from last week, your short story first draft).

As your group discusses, create a list for yourself of other ideas people come up with for the human experience in the different text.  Once your group has come up with as many ideas as possible, list your best 5 ideas about how the work we’ve read and written so far demonstrates the human experience as a comment to this post.
