What could be different aspects of the human experience that are demonstrated in the texts we’ve read and written so far this semester. Brainstorm many different ideas (WRITE THEM DOWN!!!). Here are the texts you must look at: “Sound of Thunder”, the excerpts from House on Mango Street, “Cask of Amontillado”, “The Sniper”, and at least one of the texts you’ve written so far (your new end to SoT, the show don’t tell quick write from earlier, your short story first draft).

-what does it feel to be back in time
– It feels that they were having a rough time throughout there life
-In the house on mango street, she was raised to move houses throughout her life
-Eckles was very scared to be alone
-In the sound of thunder he was feeling scared and worried because he stepped of the path.
-The House on Mango Street she was mad and getting sick of moving all the time.
-The Cask of Amontillado was another scared type of felling or sick felling with all of the bone hanging off of the walls.
In the Sound of Thunder Eckles felt scared and he was nervous.
In the passage of House On Mango Street, she was shy and she was raised moving houses constantly.
In the story Cask of Amontillado the guy was trying to get revenge and he was very suspicious.
In my story Dusty, he is lonely and his wife passed. He is adventurous and wants to move deeper in the woods.

1. Sound of Thunder shows that anything in the past could alter the future.
2. House on Mango Street shows that they make work with what they have.
Anyone could have their own life experiences. It is life, and everyone’s is different.
– In the sound of thunder, his experience was in the future and hunting a dinosaur.
– In the story Mango street the girl had family issues and money problems and she was not living the way she expected.
– And in my short story Lindsay has strong feelings for her Ex- boyfriend that hurt her.
In the sniper story he was facing war and got shot.
One thing from House on mango street is not living very wealthy and is sad about that. Sound of Thunder could be lessons that he learned from and how people make mistakes. The Sniper is probably not giving up keep fighting even though something bad happens to you.
